Mark Shaw

Mark Shaw has extensive experience in financial management and operations across various organizations, primarily within academic and healthcare environments. Since September 2009, Mark Shaw has held multiple managerial roles at the University of California, Berkeley, including Manager of the Department of Music and Operations Manager of the Energy Biosciences Institute, focusing on financial planning, human resources management, and facilities management. Previous experience includes serving as Manager of Finance and Operations at the Public Health Institute, Senior Project Manager for HR Systems at Kaiser Permanente, and various HR and administration positions at the Electronics Research Laboratory, Commerce One, California League of Conservation Voters, and American Youth Hostels. Mark Shaw earned a BA in Economics from Stanford University in 1984.
