Matthew Leavy, P.E. is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in utilities management and station engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Utilities Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley since December 2021, Matthew has previously held various leadership roles at Gas Transmission Systems, Inc., including Station Engineering Discipline Lead and Supervisor of Engineering. Prior to that, Matthew worked as an Electronics Engineer for the U.S. Army's Information Systems Engineering Command and gained early experience as an Engineering Intern at Southwest Gas Corporation and in retail at Golfsmith International. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, earned in 2009.
