Michael Ross

Michael Ross, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell since May 2019 and serves as a Canadian Institute for Advanced Research Bio-Inspired Solar Energy Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Berkeley, collaborating with prominent advisors in the field. Prior experience includes a doctoral research position at Northwestern University, where Michael designed optical properties in DNA-programmed nanoparticle superlattices, and independent research roles focusing on organic synthesis at Providence College and Chulalongkorn University. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Northwestern University and a B.S. in Biochemistry, cum laude, from Providence College, along with a certificate in Management for Scientists and Engineers from the Kellogg School of Management.
