Michelle McClellan

Associate Vice Chancellor, Constituent Programs, University Development & Alumni Relations

Michelle McClellan is an experienced development and alumni relations professional with a robust career in higher education and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Associate Vice Chancellor for Constituent Programs at the University of California, Berkeley since February 2017, Michelle previously held the position of Assistant Dean for Development and Alumni Relations at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley from July 2009 to January 2017. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Development Officer at the California Academy of Sciences from 2004 to 2009 and Director of Development at the College of Engineering, UC Berkeley from 1997 to 2004. Earlier in the career, Michelle worked as Acting Director of Development at The A.C.T. Conservatory from 1990 to 1997. Michelle holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature with a focus on Spanish from UC Irvine.
