Mina Witteman has a diverse career as an author, editor, and educator, focusing on fiction and poetry for various age groups, including young children, middle-grade readers, young adults, and adults. Since 1999, Mina has published short stories, picture books, adventure novels, young adult thrillers, crime novels, flash fiction, and poetry. As an experienced editor, Mina has collaborated with major Dutch publishing houses and individual authors on both sides of the Atlantic. Currently serving as the Director of the Dutch School Silicon Valley and an OLLI @Berkeley instructor, Mina also has a background in strategic partnerships at Cinnamongirl, Inc., and has held roles in youth programming at the Bay Area Book Festival and as a coordinator for children's and young adult literature at the Dutch Foundation for Literature in the USA.
