Nick Cawthon

Nick Cawthon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in user experience design and education. As Principal at Gauge since March 2001, Nick has led a consultancy that emphasizes user-centered design in product development. In academia, Nick serves as an Adjunct Professor II at California College of the Arts, teaching Data Visualization in the Design Strategy MBA program, and as a Data Science Program Mentor at the University of California, Berkeley, guiding undergraduate Data Scientists. Previously, Nick held significant roles including Head of Design & UX at npm, Inc., Director of User Experience at Loggly, and Director of Experience Architecture at Organic. With a strong educational background, including an MPhil from the University of Sydney and a BFA from California College of the Arts, Nick combines practical design expertise with academic insight.
