Ofer Eldar

Ofer Eldar is a distinguished academic currently serving as a Professor of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, and holds the position of Senior Research Fellow at the IWH – Halle Institute for Economic Research. In addition, Ofer is a Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). Previously, Ofer was a Professor of Law, Economics, and Finance at Duke University School of Law and affiliated with Duke University's Economics Department and The Fuqua School of Business in various courtesy roles. Ofer's professional experience includes work as an associate at Weil Gotshal and Manges and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Ofer's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Yale University, a J.S.D. from Yale Law School, and multiple degrees in Economics, Corporate Law, and Law from prestigious institutions including Yale and the University of Cambridge.
