Oliver O’Reilly

Oliver O'Reilly is a seasoned academic leader with extensive experience at the University of California, Berkeley, where O'Reilly has served since July 1992 in various roles, including Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, Professor, and Associate Dean for the Graduate Education Division of Computing, Data Science, and Society. O'Reilly has also held significant leadership positions such as Chair and Vice Chair of the Berkeley Division of the Academic Senate. Prior to this, O'Reilly was a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at ETH Zürich from August 1990 to June 1992. O'Reilly holds a PhD and MS in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Cornell University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Galway.
