Olusola Ogunyewo

Olusola Ogunyewo, PhD, currently serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, since October 2022. Prior to this role, Ogunyewo was associated with the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from September 2016 to December 2022 and also held the position of Pre Doctoral Fellow there. Earlier experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the Federal University Technology, Akure from February 2013 to January 2016, and working as a Quality Control Analyst at Apple Biotech Ltd and Medac Pharmaceuticals Production Ltd in 2011-2012. Ogunyewo began a career in quality control as an officer at Sumal Foods Ltd during an industrial training period in 2010. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biotechnology from the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, a Master's Degree in Applied Biochemistry, and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Biochemistry, both from the Federal University of Technology Akure.
