Param Joshi is a dedicated researcher with experience in astrophysics and radio astronomy. Currently serving as a Research Intern at the University of Oxford from January 2025, Param is focused on studying Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) and radio transients utilizing data from the GBT and Parkes radio telescope. As a Research Assistant at the SETI Institute since November 2023, Param is engaged in the search for FRBs using the Allen Telescope Array, employing the SPANDAK pipeline for data analysis. Additionally, at the University of California, Berkeley, also since November 2023, Param contributes to research on FRBs and detection techniques. Param holds multiple leadership roles at AstroNITR while previously interning at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, in the Gravitational Wave Physics Group, and at the Physical Research Laboratory focusing on Stellar Data Analysis. Param is pursuing a BS-MS degree in Physics and Astronomy at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, expected to complete in May 2026.
