Pei Wang

Pei Wang is an experienced researcher in the field of human factors, currently serving as an Assistant Research Engineer and Associate Project Scientist at the University of California, Berkeley, since June 2017. In this role, Pei leads human factors projects focusing on advanced transportation systems and automated vehicles. Prior to this position, Pei worked as an HMI Researcher at General Motors in China from July 2011 to April 2017, where contributions included cross-cultural studies of in-vehicle speech systems, usability evaluations for the Cadillac User Experience system, and data analytics for Apple Car Play usage in China. Pei Wang holds a Ph.D. in Human Factors and Ergonomics from Tsinghua University and has also studied Intelligent Transportation at the University of California, Berkeley, as a visiting student. Earlier education includes a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tianjin University and a high school diploma from Xuzhou No.1 Middle School.
