Robert Strand

Robert Strand serves as the Executive Director of the Nordic Center and the Center for Responsible Business at the University of California, Berkeley, with experience spanning multiple prestigious institutions. Strand has been affiliated with Berkeley since 2014 and has held a concurrent role as an Associate Professor of Leadership & Sustainability at Copenhagen Business School since 2012. Previous roles include Teaching Specialist at the Carlson School of Management, Ph.D. Fellow at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and market researcher and industrial engineer at Boston Scientific and IBM, respectively. Strand holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Social Responsibility and Leadership from Copenhagen Business School, an MBA in International Business from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, Strand completed a Fulbright Scholarship focused on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability in Norway.
