Roya Maboudian is a Distinguished Professor of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at UC Berkeley, where they have taught since 1993. They currently serve as Co-Director of the Berkeley Sensor & Actuator Center and as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs in the College of Chemistry, a position they assumed in 2024. Roya holds a PhD in Applied Physics from Caltech, which they earned in 1988.
