Russell Vance

Russell Vance is a distinguished academic currently serving as a Professor and HHMI Investigator at the University of California, Berkeley since April 2006. Prior to this role, Russell was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School from October 2000 to March 2006, where mentorship was provided by notable figures John Mekalanos and William Dietrich. Russell Vance holds a PhD in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in May 2000, as well as an MA in Philosophy and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Biochemistry from Queen's University, obtained in 1995 and 1994, respectively.
