Shawna Dark

Shawna Dark is the Vice Chancellor for Information and Education Technology at West Valley - Mission Community College District, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, Shawna served as the Assistant Vice Provost at the University of California, Berkeley, and as Executive Director at California State University, Northridge. With an academic background including a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles, Shawna has also held various roles in higher education, including Professor and Department Chair. Shawna is recognized for their leadership at the intersection of research and technology in academic settings.
