Siinn Che

Siinn Che is a Machine Learning Engineer at Apple since July 2024 and a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, teaching Machine Learning at scale since August 2023. Previously, Siinn served as an Applied Scientist at Amazon from April 2022 to July 2024 and worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta from May 2020 to April 2022. Siinn also has experience as a Data Scientist at AllianceBernstein from September 2018 to May 2020, focusing on applying machine learning techniques in finance, alongside developing deep learning models and natural language processing pipelines. Earlier experience includes a Data Science Fellowship at Insight Data Science, where a recommender system for Medium articles was built, and a Graduate Researcher position at CERN, where research centered on particle physics and software development for tracking algorithms. Siinn's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Experimental Particle Physics from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
