Stephen C. Sutton, Ed.D., currently serves as the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of California, Berkeley, a position held since 2017. With extensive experience in organizational leadership and change management, they have successfully overseen an operating budget of $509 million and led numerous initiatives to improve student services. Previously, they were the Vice President for Student Affairs & Enrollment Management at the University of St. Thomas-Houston and have held various roles at UC Berkeley. A dedicated professional, they have also contributed significantly to national organizations, including serving as ACPA Foundation President and chairing the 2012 ACPA Convention. Sutton earned their degree from the University of Houston.
