Tim Deruyter

Tim DeRuyter currently serves as the Defensive Coordinator at the University of California, Berkeley, and has held this position since January 2017. Prior to this role, Tim DeRuyter was the Head Coach at Fresno State from January 2012 to October 2016 and served as Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Texas A&M University from January 2010 to December 2011. Earlier coaching experience includes a position as Assistant Coach and Defensive Coordinator at the US Air Force Academy from 2007 to January 2010. Tim DeRuyter's career began outside of football, working as a Sales Consultant at W. Lorenz Surgical from 1993 to January 1995. Tim DeRuyter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the United States Air Force Academy and an MBA in market strategy from Regis University.
