Wei Zhan

Wei Zhan is an accomplished researcher in the field of autonomous driving, currently serving as Co Director at Berkeley DeepDrive since 2022 and Chief Scientist at Applied Intuition since September 2024, where responsibilities include leading AI research initiatives focused on next-generation autonomy and developing the associated toolchain. In addition, Wei Zhan holds the position of Assistant Professional Researcher and previously worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, since 2020. Wei Zhan completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Autonomous Driving at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2014 to 2019.
