Will Byrne

Will Byrne serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pluro Labs, focusing on leveraging AI to enhance and protect democracy since September 2022. Additionally, Will is an Affiliated Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, contributing to the CITRIS and the Banatao Institute. Previous roles include Advisor at Filament, Senior Director of the Innovation Lab at Human Rights First, and Founding Partner and Advisor at Canopy Collective, among others. Will's early career involved strategic leadership at the Center for Humane Technology and Presence Product Group, where there was a focus on emerging technology's impact on societal and business challenges. Will holds a Civic Innovation Fellowship from Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, with studies in English and German Studies.
