William Orta

William Orta currently serves as the interim Director of Operations and the permanent Director of Student Services for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to this, William was the Associate Director for the Master of Professional Accountancy program at the University of California, Davis. William's earlier experience includes roles as Program Manager and Senior Program Coordinator at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine, overseeing various graduate programs, and positions at Dade Medical College and Miami-Dade County Public Schools. William holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University and a BA in English from Florida International University.
