Daniel Chang is currently serving as a Maintenance & Reliability Engineering Intern at Suncor since September 2025. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Analyst at Cenovus Energy, where focus was on Small Modular Reactors, and a Finance & Strategy Internship at Atom Finance. Daniel Chang is also involved with UCalgary Racing as a Battery Pack Member, contributing to cell CFD & thermal simulation, high voltage segment design, and custom tooling. Additionally, a role as Battery Pack Lead will begin at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary in May 2024, with a focus on ultra-wide-band location estimation. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Calgary from 2023 to 2027.
