Simone Less is an Investment Principal at Aramco Ventures, focusing on early-stage investments in the sustainability sector since April 2023. With over 15 years of professional experience, Simone previously led the Crude Oil Treatment R&D program at Aramco and served as a scientist developing innovative separation processes. Simone holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, along with multiple degrees in Energy Engineering and an MBA. Currently, Simone also serves as a Board Observer at Ucaneo, a climate-tech company specializing in Direct Air Capture technology.
