Dave Carbery

Dave Carbery is currently a Senior Data Steward at UCAS, utilizing expertise in data engineering with Snowflake and Matillion ETL, as well as data visualization through Pyramid Analytics and Power BI. Dave has recent consultancy experience in the UK ambient foods and power generation sectors, and is certified at the highest level with Pyramid Analytics. Prior to this role, Dave spent over 17 years as an Associate Professor at the University of Bath, focusing on organic materials and curriculum development while also engaging in data science and informatics. Dave holds a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield and a BSc(Hons) in Pure Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde.
