Ruth Jones

Ruth Jones possesses extensive experience in educational leadership and international development. Currently serving as Chair and Member of the UCAS International Advisory Group, Ruth provides strategic advice on international initiatives through UCAS from January 2023 to December 2024. Prior to this, Ruth held the role of Deputy Chief Academic Officer at NCUK from January 2020 to January 2024, where responsibilities included leading the Academic Directorate and overseeing employee coaching and project management. Ruth also held positions at First Group, including Associate Director of Student Support and Head of Student Support, and contributed to web and data development in 2004. Educational credentials include a PGCert in International Student Advice and Support from the University of Nottingham and an MA in the Management of International Higher Education from Edge Hill University.
