Ali Ates

Ali Ates has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Project Leader and Group Leader at UCB Pharma since 2003. In this role, Ali Ates focuses on drug design and the development of new original molecules, while also managing and coaching team members to enhance their skills. Additionally, Ali Ates oversees resources management and ensures optimal scientific output in areas such as synthetic organic chemistry, pharmacology, and toxicology. Prior to this position, Ali Ates was a Group Leader and Chargé de Recherche Lecturer at Université catholique de Louvain from July 2000 to July 2003. Ali Ates holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Université catholique de Louvain, earned between 1994 and 1999.
