Ally Smith is a corporate venture and M&A lawyer with extensive experience in legal counsel and consulting. They previously served as a Senior Associate and Associate at Hogan Lovells, and as a Consultant for Walmart Asia. Currently, Ally is the Senior Legal Counsel for Ventures and M&A at UCB, having also worked as Corporate Counsel on the M&A/Investments Legal Team at Google from 2021 to 2023. Ally holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Cambridge.
