Andreas Duczmal

Andreas Duczmal has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and scientific sectors, currently serving as Director of Global Drug Development IT at UCB since January 2007. Prior to this role, Andreas held multiple senior positions at Schwarz Pharma AG from March 1997 to December 2006, including Director and Associate Director of Scientific Information Engineering, as well as Manager of Clinical Systems and Project Manager for Drug Safety Systems. Earlier in Andreas's career, research was conducted as a PhD student at the German Cancer Research Center from September 1993 to December 1996, focusing on topics such as the transmigration of lymphoma cells and integrins. Andreas began work as a scientist at the Max-Planck Institute for Immunbiology in early 1993, specializing in the production of monoclonal antibodies. Andreas earned a Diplom in Biochemistry, Virology, Microbiology, and Zoology from Leibniz Universität Hannover between 1986 and 1992.
