Chris McCabe, PhD, is currently the Global Asset Medical Community Head at UCB, where they are responsible for developing the global medical strategy and external engagement for clinical development programs. With over 18 years of experience in medical affairs and academia, Chris previously served as Medical Strategy Lead and Evidence Generation Lead within UCB’s Immunology division, and earned the EU MSL Stakeholder Engagement Award in 2019. Prior to their industry tenure, Chris was a Principal Investigator and Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, leading a research group focused on acute ischemic stroke, managing multiple projects, and securing over £2M in research funding. Chris holds a PhD in Cardiovascular Pharmacology and has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice.
