Chris Rapier

Chris Rapier currently serves as the Global Medical Head of Insights, Digital Analytics and External Partnerships at UCB, a position held since December 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing Scientific Communications, Publications, and Medical Information excellence teams to enhance company capabilities and processes. Prior experience includes roles at Vifor Pharma as Global Director of Medical Communication Strategy, where Chris managed Medical Communication, Scientific Publication, and Medical Education functions, and at Merck KGaA as Head of Medical Communications and Publications, leading teams to create communication materials for healthcare professionals. Additional roles include Senior Manager of Scientific Publications at Amgen and Vice President of Medical and Scientific Services at Gardiner-Caldwell Communications. Chris holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor of Science with honors in Medical Microbiology and Genetics from The University of Edinburgh.
