Chris Smith

Chris Smith has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Chris currently holds the position of Accounting Lead BII at UCB since September 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Financial Controller at Airbus from December 2021 to September 2023. From September 2020 to November 2021, they worked as a Financial Controller at 2EXCEL LOGISTICS LIMITED.

Chris also has experience at Bio-Rad Laboratories, where they served as an Accounting Supervisor (UK/Benelux) from April 2017 to August 2020 and as a Management Accountant (Benelux) from August 2016 to March 2017. Chris worked as an Accountant at The Walt Disney Company from December 2014 to July 2016 and as an International Accounts Manager at 360 Group in May 2014.

Prior to these roles, Chris worked as a Finance Assistant at London Array Limited from July 2011 to November 2013, as an Accounts Payable Clerk at P F Cusack (Tool Supplies) Ltd. from November 2007 to April 2011, as an Accounts Payable Clerk at Ardmore Group from November 2005 to November 2007, and as a Customer Service Officer at Royal Bank of Scotland from May 2004 to May 2005.

Chris Smith attended Kaplan Financial from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained an AAT degree. Prior to that, they attended Southgate College from 2000 to 2004. Before college, they completed their secondary education at Winchmore School from 1995 to 2000.
