Daniel Lightwood is a seasoned professional in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology, having earned a first-class BSc Hons degree from Reading University in 1996 and a PhD from the University of Cambridge in 1999. Daniel joined UCB Pharma in 1999, where they have greatly contributed to the development of the company’s antibody discovery platform. Currently, as the VP and Head of Antibody Discovery and Optimisation, Daniel manages a team of approximately 30 scientists dedicated to advancing monoclonal antibody therapeutics.
