David Kallenberg

David Kallenberg is a Principal Scientist at UCB, where they lead a small team focused on fragment screening and the optimization of surface plasmon resonance assays for drug discovery. They have extensive experience in biophysical assays and have been responsible for characterizing both biological and small molecule drug candidates. Kallenberg previously served as a Research Associate at the Institute of Ophthalmology, where they led a project on humanized antibodies and investigated key proteins involved in tumor growth and angiogenesis. They earned their PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics from St. George's University of London, and have held various roles in academia, including an Honorary Senior Research Associate position at UCL.
