Emma Sutton is currently a Principal Scientist at UCB, where they lead biology support for early-stage drug discovery projects. They began their career with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of the West of England before completing a Master of Research and a PhD in Cancer Sciences at the University of Southampton. Emma’s research focused on immuno-oncology and the development of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies, utilizing various biological techniques. They have gained experience working with GlaxoSmithKline as an Industrial Placement Student, where they introduced innovative techniques in flow cytometry. Emma is passionate about fostering an inclusive work environment and nurturing future scientists' love for data.
