Geoff Brown

Geoff Brown has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the External Manufacturing Operations Lead at UCB since February 2009, where multiple roles have included Associate Director, Group Leader, Principal Scientist, Senior Development Scientist, and USP Development Scientist. Prior to UCB, Geoff was a Research Student at the University of Birmingham from October 2004 to December 2008, focusing on a PhD project investigating magnetic systems for protein recovery and refolding, while also supervising MSc students. Additionally, Geoff contributed as a Student Representative for the IChemE Biochemical Engineering Subject Group from 2006 to 2008 and gained practical experience during an industrial placement at GSK, where responsibilities encompassed analytical chemistry and process application. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and an MEng in Biochemical Engineering with Bioprocess Management from UCL.
