Ivan Matthews is a Senior Director and Clinical Lead at UCB, with extensive experience in drug development and submission across major pharmaceutical companies. Ivan has a strong background in quantitative clinical pharmacology and has developed model-informed drug development strategies for various therapeutic areas. Previously, Ivan served as a Scientific Director at Drug Disease Model Resources and held roles as Clinical Pharmacology Lead at Pfizer and Senior Modeler at Novartis. Ivan’s academic credentials include a PhD in Pharmacometrics from The University of Manchester and both a BSc and MSc in Pharmacology from the University of Auckland. Currently, Ivan continues to contribute to the field as a Visiting Research Fellow at King's College London.
