James Staley is a genetic statistician and the Computational Genetics Lead at UCB, where they oversee the computational genetics strategy. Previously, they served as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol, developing statistical methods for epigenetic data and contributing to the creation of the EWAS Catalog. James holds a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics from the University of Cambridge and has master's degrees in Mathematics and Medical Statistics from the University of Birmingham and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, respectively.
