John Ioannou

John Ioannou is currently the Global Medical Head of the Immunology Therapeutic Area at UCB, where they oversee a Global Medical team focused on Rheumatology and Dermatology. They have held various roles in prestigious institutions, including Senior Lecturer and Principal Investigator at UCL, and Honorary Consultant positions at University College London Hospitals and Great Ormond Street Hospital. John is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at UCL and has obtained multiple medical qualifications from the Royal College of Physicians. Throughout their career, John has been driven by the objective of delivering value for patients and aims to embody values such as empathy, inclusivity, and authenticity in their leadership.
