Laurens Vyncke is currently the Medical Head of Rheumatology and Dermatology for BeLux at UCB, where they lead and inspire teams while developing strategic partnerships and projects. With a strong background in biochemistry, Laurens earned a Master of Industrial Sciences and a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Ghent University. They began their career as a PhD student at VIB-UGent from 2012 to 2018, focusing on the interaction sites of the MyD88 TIR domain. Following this, Laurens transitioned into medical writing and subsequently took on various roles within UCB, enhancing their expertise in the field.
