Luis Castro

Luis Castro possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the VP Head of Global Chemistry at UCB since November 2012. Prior to this role, Luis held leadership positions at Eisai Europe Ltd as the Head of Chemistry for the Neuroscience Product Creation Unit and at Eisai London Research Laboratories as Head of Chemistry. Additionally, Luis worked at GlaxoSmithKline as VP, Head of Chemistry & DMPK for the Neurology CEDD and was Executive Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Merck Sharp & Dohme. This diverse background highlights a robust expertise in medicinal chemistry and drug development.
