Matthew Barton

Matthew Barton is a global clinical development leader in the bioPharma and pharmaceutical industries, with extensive experience across multiple therapeutic areas. They have held key positions including Senior Director at UCB and Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals, and Director at Biogen and Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. Matthew's academic background includes a BS in Biology from the University of Iowa and a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Utah, where their research focused on NMDA subunit selective antagonists in epilepsy models. Currently, they serve as Head of Global Clinical Development for Neurology at UCB.
