Meng Yang is a Senior Scientist II at UCB, specializing in Structural Biology using Cryo-EM and X-ray crystallography. With a background as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at McGill University focusing on cancer and membrane proteins, as well as experience in protein chemistry at Novo Nordisk, Meng has a strong foundation in biochemistry. Previously, as a Research and Teaching Assistant at The State University of New York at Stony Brook, Meng worked on enzyme structures from Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Starting as a Student Research Assistant at Xiamen University, Meng conducted research on rapid pathogen detection techniques. Meng holds a PhD in Chemistry from Stony Brook University and continues to expand expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology at McGill University.
