Rhys Thomas is currently a Principal Scientist at UCB, having joined the company in 2024. They previously held roles as a Senior Scientist and Research Scientist at the same organization. Rhys completed a Postdoctoral Research Assistant position at the University of Leeds in 2017, and undertook a Year in Industry placement at AstraZeneca in 2010. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Leeds between 2012 and 2016, following a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Bristol from 2008 to 2012.
