Stephen Yates

Stephen Yates is a permanent Deacon at the Diocese of Raleigh and has been in this role since 2012. They have contributed to the pharmaceutical and clinical research fields through positions at Patient Focused Medicines Development, TransCelerate BioPharma Inc., and UCB. Stephen has also served as a director in discovery research at Gliatech, Inc. and as a global fellow with Catholic Relief Services. Their academic background includes a BS in Biochemistry/Biology from the University of Tampa, a PhD in Neuropharmacology from the University of Connecticut, and a post-doctoral fellowship in Nicotinic Pharmacology from Duke University.
