Ethan W.

Ethan W. is a Full Stack Engineer at Samsara since July 2022 and also serves as a Full Stack Developer for UCL API, which is a student-built platform aimed at opening up UCL-funded data. With prior experience as a Full Stack Engineer Intern at Samsara and a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems, Ethan has demonstrated a strong foundation in software development and research. Significant contributions include leading the creation of a distributed testing system during an internship at EMIS Health and working as a Senior Programming Tutor at UCL, where Ethan managed the hiring of 25 programming tutors. Ethan holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from UCL, and participated in the Cornell, Maryland, Max Planck Pre-doctoral Research School, focusing on advanced topics in machine learning and data processing. Former positions include roles as a Research Assistant at the UCL Interaction Centre and experience at Man AHL and the Royal Bank of Scotland Business.
