Aasha Ramdeen

Aasha Ramdeen is a skilled Fashion Illustrator and Accessory Designer at Brighton Collectibles since February 2022, while also serving as a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Theater at the University of California, Los Angeles since January 2022, focusing on drawing the human form, costume illustration, branding, and Photoshop. With a strong background in independent textile design, Aasha has worked with a diverse clientele, including notable companies such as Disney Consumer Products, Skechers USA, and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and offers commissioned artwork through an Etsy store. Previous roles include Manager of Textile Design at Manhattan Beachwear and Senior Textile Designer at Star Fabrics, as well as various positions in merchandising and design across several companies. Aasha holds an MFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design and a BA in Illustration/Graphic Design from Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts. Recognized for excellence in design, Aasha has received multiple awards from the Advertising Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
