Alan R. Roper

Alan R. Roper, Ed.D, currently serves as the Supervisor for Educational Technology Tools at UCLA, where leadership is provided to a dynamic team focused on enhancing classroom engagement and collaboration. Additionally, Alan holds the position of Academic Technology Manager at the Bruin Learn Center of Excellence, overseeing a team that aims to create a high-quality teaching and learning environment. Experience as a cohort facilitator for the California Education Learning Lab involves supporting initiatives to address equity gaps in STEM education. With a long-standing role as a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University, Alan also has extensive experience in instructional design and educational program development across various institutions, including roles at the University of California Office of the President and UC Berkeley. Alan's educational background includes an Ed.D in Educational Leadership, complemented by degrees in Information Technology, Public Administration, and Adult Learning.
