Anne Suda is an accomplished cellist and educator with extensive experience in performance and instruction. Serving as a Teaching Assistant at UCLA since August 2016, Anne has also maintained a successful freelance music career since 2008. Anne’s performance accolades include winning the LMC Frances Walton Solo Competition in 2016 and the Berkeley Piano Club Chamber Music Competition in 2014. Notable solo performances with various symphonies include works by Tchaikovsky, Dvořák, Haydn, Brahms, Beethoven, and Popper. As a cellist in multiple ensembles, including the Aleron Trio and Nonsemble 6, Anne has engaged in extensive chamber music and orchestral performances while actively participating in educational initiatives as an artist-in-residence at various institutions. Anne holds a DMA in Cello Performance from UCLA and degrees from Vanderbilt University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Additionally, Anne contributes to music journalism as a reviewer for Audiophile Audition.
