Anthony Shu

Anthony Shu is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles, with extensive experience in writing and digital content creation. Since 2018, Anthony has been a freelance features writer for various publications including Eater SF and KQED, while also serving as the co-founder and co-curator of Lunchbox Moments Zine, which highlights the work of Asian American and Pacific Islander artists. Previous roles include Associate Digital Editor for Embarcadero Media, Senior Digital Content Coordinator at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, and contributions to initiatives focused on food culture and social advocacy. Anthony holds an A.B. Cum Laude in Sociology from Princeton University and a Master's degree in Sociology from UCLA.
