Brian MacDonald

Brian MacDonald currently serves as the Executive Director of Communications and Organizational Development for UCLA Student Affairs since May 2021. Prior to this role, MacDonald was the Director of Residential Education at UCLA from August 2014 to May 2021 and held the position of Director of New Student Orientation and Family Programs at Rutgers University Office of Student Life from July 2011 to August 2014. Additionally, MacDonald worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Rutgers University, teaching Leadership in Digital Contexts. Earlier professional experience includes serving as the Director of New Student and Family Programs at Boise State University and as a Resident Director at UC Santa Barbara. MacDonald holds a Master’s degree in Education focused on Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
